The award-winning Lancier Brass Quintet has established itself as one of the leading young chamber ensembles of the country, making their Purcell Room debut in January 2006 as Park Lane Young Artists, the first brass ensemble to do so since 1995. The individual players of Lancier Brass have all worked at the top of their profession with renowned orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, London Symphony, and Philharmonia Orchestras. Two members of the quintet also hold permanent positions with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera.
