Zephirus is led by classical saxophonist, Amy Dickson, winner of many prizes and awards, who has performed internationally in Australia, the UK and Europe. Formed in 2005, Zephirus is fast becoming one of the most exciting young chamber groups in the country. In 2007 they won the Ensemble Prize at the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition, which led to their Queen Elizabeth Hall debut and also to their debut at the Wigmore Hall in 2008. The quartet has also performed widely at festivals throughout the UK and abroad.

This concert is part of the Biggar Little Festival and the programme will include the classical saxophone repertoire in the first half, followed with jazzy/showy works after the interval.
